Meet Dr. Dan Marlowe
Dr. Dan Marlowe has had the opportunity to hold many roles over the course of his career aimed at helping others better understand themselves to better understand and navigate the world in which we live.
As a psychotherapist, he has had the privilege of working with a large and diverse population on a wide variety of issues. Whether patients dying of stage four cancer, those diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness hidden away in state psychiatric hospitals, families/individuals dealing with trauma and substance use, members of marginalized communities facing prejudice, or healthcare providers suffering from severe burnout; his role has always been the same- to help those that come to see him truly ‘see’ themselves to be themselves.
As a medical educator, Dan has worked to train and supervise healthcare providers across a broad range of disciplines along the entire continuum of their professional development. Teaching in both the classroom and clinic, Dan’s main goal has always been to help those that care for us not only see and engage their patients as people, but to remember how to do the same with and for themselves.
His work in these areas has led to numerous speaking engagements at state and national professional conferences, several academic publications, and the opportunity to serve as a subject matter expert in the fields of integrated care and healthcare provider wellness.
However, of all the roles he has held in his career and in his life, the two most meaningful have always been as a husband and a father.
